“Welcome to paradise, mon!” Our snorkel guide, Abdiel, flashed a bright smile as he slowed his boat to meet us. Just ahead, waves from the Caribbean Sea were breaking off the Belize Barrier Reef, the second-longest barrier reef in the world.
