King Kong Returns to Wellington

Look out – one of the giants of Hollywood cinema is about to return to Wellington.

New Zealand‘s capital city was home-base for the production of Peter Jackson’s King Kong in 2004. Now it’s gearing up to host an exhibition that takes people behind-the-scenes of the epic blockbuster.

Learn filming secrets, be wowed by the visual effects technology and see hundreds of drawings and models.

Becoming King Kong takes place from June 23 – November 11 2007. The venue is the recently refurbished The New Dowse, just 10 minutes drive from Wellington city.
