New Greg Norman Design to Open

Tasmania already has more golf courses per capita than the rest of Australia, and the new Louisville Point Golf Course at the $150 million Solis project will be another major feather in Tasmania’s golf cap. Solis is a major development featuring environmental sustainability with, in addition to the golf course, 60 ecocabins, health spa, deep water jetty, restaurants, bars, walking track and much more. Greg Norman launched his course design on 6th May and the course is due for completion by late 2007. The course will have the stunning natural backdrop of Maria Island and the turquoise waters of the Mercury Passage and Prosser Bay.

Tasmania’s latest links course, Barnbougle Dunes, is already rated as one of the world’s best courses.
