Throughout her career Claudia Velo has achieved a very high level of specialization in the development, implementation and adaptation of creative and marketing concepts for the North American and Latin American markets. She also has ample experience in customer service management as well as in the management of branding and positioning projects. Her marketing successes derive mostly from service-based strategies.
Her experience includes successful participations in the concept development and implementation of marketing and positioning campaigns for products such as Copala at Quivira Los Cabos, Grand Regina PRC, Four Seasons Punta Mita, and Puerto Vallarta where she was a leading member of the team responsible for taking Puerto Vallarta to the second place in popularity as resort destination in Mexico. Her writing contributions include Frommer's and Berlitz guides to Mexico, Vallarta based magazines Vallarta Lifestyles and IN&OUT, and the electronic-commerce specialized publication, e-com, of Chicago's Specialty Publishing. Her contributions earned the Frommer's portable guide to Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, and Guadalajara an award from Mexico's Secretariat of Tourism (SECTUR) as the best guidebook on Mexico in a foreign language.
