Following the recent devaluation of the Euro against the US dollar, Skyline Travel reduced the published prices for land packages to Portugal and Spain by 6%.
Skyline has a conservative pricing policy, allowing for minor variations in the currency exchange rate without changing prices, in order to minimize inconvenience to clients and despite constant currency fluctuations has only increased prices due to currency twice in the 19 years the company has been in business.

The price reduction of 6% has made the already low priced ‘Extended Vacations’ program to Portugal’s Algarve and Spain’s Costa del Sol, even more attractive. Prices for the popular long stay packages, during the Winter months start at $1,359 for 4 weeks, staying at the beachfront Jardim do Vau Apartments in Algarve, with transfers and airfare from New York. In the Costa del Sol, 4 weeks at the Jardines del Mar Apartments in Marbella, cost $1,666 including airfare and the 5th week is FREE. Car rental is priced from $135 for a week in Portugal, including CDW insurance and a credit for the transfer/s will be given if the car is collected or returned at the airport.

Skyline also has a wide selection of ‘Special Offers’ available for late Summer and Fall, including:
• Lisbon & Algarve (7 days) – $1,188
• Madrid & Barcelona (7 days) – $1,486
• Central Portugal ‘Fly-Drive’ – $1,234
• Madrid & Costa del Sol (7 days) – $1,329
• Portuguese Fiesta Tour (7 days) – $1,554
• Madrid, Toledo & Andalucia Tour (8 days) – $1,558
All these hosted packages include airfare from New York, accommodations in 4 star hotels with breakfast daily, round trip transfers or car rental. The tours are escorted by a Tour Guide and include sightseeing, as well as some additional meals.

The packages featured in Skyline’s brochure and website include airfare, based on Bulk Fares with TAP Air Portugal for Portugal and Iberia Airlines for Spain, but the company also sells ‘Land Only’ packages and will deduct the gross airfare from the package price, upon request. Recently Skyline entered into a contract with Air Plus Comet, another Spanish carrier offering very competitive fares from New York, which enables Skyline to offer a discount of up to $260 on the air portion of the brochure prices for Spain.

In addition to the wide choice of packages available in Skyline’s brochures and website, the company is renowned for its FIT service, offering complete flexibility to book any hotels or services throughout the countries it serves. The prices for FITs in Portugal and Spain have also been reduced by 6% as a result of the devaluation of the Euro against the US dollar.
