Wellington has just won a flurry of culinary awards, cementing its reputation as New Zealand’s gourmet capital.

Top restaurant Martin Bosley’s won the Best Fine Dining category, and was the Supreme Winner at this year’s Cuisine Restaurant of the Year Awards.

Martin Bosley’s is located on Wellington’s stunning waterfront, and offers an exquisite, fish-focused menu. Cuisine food editor and head judge, Lauraine Jacobs, says the restaurant is a class
act which could compete with premier restaurants anywhere in the world.

well-trained professional crew.”

The Wellington region also took out two more awards, winning three of the seven award categories.

Wellington’s Pravda Cafe won the Best Casual Dining – Metropolitan award. The Martinborough at Peppers Martinborough Hotel, located in the Wairarapa wine region, took the Best Casual Dining – Regional award.
