Steve’s Story
Travel and road tripping are in my genes I guess "? but on the odd chance I'm wrong, my parents undoubtedly instilled them later on.
At the impressionable age of four my family relocated to California from Ohio on that seminal transcontinental highway, Route 66. With a Chevy station-wagon packed with all the essential camping gear, every National/State Park and cultural region possible was visited on the road to Los Angles. These were the experiences that shaped my life's path.
Fast forward to my college days "? where the lure of wide open beaches, an excellent exchange rate, fish tacos and Pacifico beer drew my girlfriend and me to Baja California Norte. Adventure ensued along with many of my most memorable journeys. I've never lost that love for Baja, but press trips in the America's and Europe, plus in true trilateral style Asia too, lured me away.
In 2006 I began writing for ITKT, along with other outlets, and later assumed the role of managing editor. In addition to my editing work, as a contributing writer my stories employ digital storytelling mashed up with dynamic space-age mapping technology.
