BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (Nov. 17, 2011) "“ American Eagle Airlines nonstop service from San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) to Bridgetown, Barbados (BGI)returns this Fall giving travelers a new reason to head to the Caribbean just in time before the cold winter weather hits. With flights operating from San Juan to Bridgetown on American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, each Friday and Sunday beginning Nov. 18, travelers can escape to the island's serene waters and warm sandy beaches in just under two and a half hours. The flight from San Juan departs at 8:15 p.m. and arrives at Bridgetown at 10:34 p.m. every Friday and Sunday. Visitors can also make it a jetsetter's getaway with departures from Bridgetown each Saturday and Monday at 8:50 a.m. arriving in San Juan at 11:10 a.m.

 

The return of American Eagle's nonstop flight from San Juan also opens up several new gateways including Chicago O'Hare, Boston Logan, Baltimore Washington International, Denver International and Hartford, allowing for more direct connection times. Additionally, the existing American Airlines nonstop flight from New York's JFK to Bridgetown will operate seven days a week just in time for the island's high season.
