The Middle Ages, Churches in Georgia

The Country of Georgia has Churches Galore

Hopefully, my short picture essay of Churches in Georgia will not only marks Georgia as In The Know Traveler’s 182nd featured country, but also a prime example of a destination of an emerging traveler’s paradise loaded with ridiculously fantastic history. This sampling is only a portion of the church photos I could have included here. Feast your eyes and whet your palette for a new trip.

For me, I had low expectations of Georgia, mostly because I knew nothing about it. If you are like me, let me set the record straight. Churches in Georgia is only the tip of the iceberg of a friendly country that I will be writing more about in the future. For now, enjoy some of my photos.

Note: I am currently on a three country tour with FloTours (Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan) and I am blown away so far.
