Combine Prague, Vienna and Budapest Into One Escorted Tour Vacation –
Introductory Prices in January-March from $1,399

Long known for vacation programs to Ireland and Britain, CIE Tours International is branching out to Eastern Europe in 2008, combining the historic and popular cities of Prague, Vienna and Budapest into one new 11-day escorted tour vacation, with introductory prices in January through March from $1,399 land-only or from $2,072 from New York or Boston, or from $2,153 from Chicago. Higher rates, from $1,958 land-only, prevail from April 3rd onward.

The new Eastern Europe tour, known simply as Prague, Vienna & Budapest, provides the best of three capitals, with relaxing three-night stays at first class hotels in each city (the Ambassador in Prague; Savoy or Ananas in Vienna; and the Mercure Korona in Budapest). Departures are scheduled for selected Thursdays, January 17 through October 30.

The itinerary offers activities that aim to impart the ambiance and cultural highlights of Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic, such as visits to landmark palaces and castles, a Strauss & Mozart Concert in Vienna, an opera performance in Prague, a walk around Prague’s Old Town, a Czech folkloric dinner, and dinner at a "csarda" restaurant in Budapest.

The price includes hotel accommodations with private bath for nine nights; nine buffet breakfasts and three dinners; entertainment and sightseeing including admissions to Royal Castle of Hradcany, St. Vitus Cathedral, Hofburg Palace, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Kunsthistorische Museum, Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church; sightseeing by luxury motorcoach with professional tour director; all local taxes, hotel service charges and porterage; deluxe flight bag, ticket wallet, luggage tags and strap.
