Electric Forest’s “2 Day Sat & Sun” Tickets, Celebrity Chef Pop-Up Restaurant, 2013 Festival Map and More
Electric Forest’s unrivaled GOOD LIFE VIP experience is almost entirely sold out. The GOOD LIFE Program – highlighted in this month’s Wired Magazine for its unparalleled amenities and perks – offers onsite lodging options such as log cabins, log homes and resort hotel-style suites, a 60,000 square foot indoor water park, an 18-hole championship golf course, swimming pools, horseback riding, and more. New to the GOOD LIFE experience this year, access to Electric Forest’s Woodland Kitchen + Bar, an ultimate EF pop-up restaurant brought to you by restaurateur and Top Chef season 5 champion Hosea Rosenberg. Signature dishes like the Pulled Pork Plate and New Mexican Stacked Chicken Enchilada will take diners on a culinary tour of the U.S. during this whimsical, country dining experience inside the Sherwood Forest.
Electric Forest is reminding patrons to bring food to contribute to the festival’s annual Roy Price Memorial Food Drive. Named in honor of cherished Electric Forest neighbor and huge Food Drive supporter, the late Mr. Roy Price. Each year Electric Forest patrons are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items, and are thanked with an exclusive Electric Forest Food Drive poster. Food Drive partners Conscious Alliance will host the collection station located at the festival entrance, where donations are redeemed poster claim tickets. To date, Electric Forest has collected and distributed over 17,200 lbs. of food to local communities in need.
In other onsite news, Electric Forest 2013 is excited to expand on the success of last year’s Electricology program. The festival’s Electricology greening program – based on the science of waste reduction through the use of sustainable products, composting, recycling, and most uniquely, rewarded crowd participation – reflects Electric Forest’s commitment to collaborating with fans. When festival goers bring recycling to the event’s campground EcoZones, and when they properly dispose of waste inside the venue, they’ll earn “EcoPoints” that are redeemable at the Electricology Store. The Electricology Store, located at the festival entrance, is the only place onsite to win signed artist merchandise, festival vendor prizes, tickets to Electric Forest 2014, access to private shows, and much more.
