(Palau, Micronesia"“October 31, 2011) — United Airlines has just introduced special airfares for North Americans interested in visiting Palau, Micronesia, for travel starting on  November 1-December 15, 2011 and again January 10-March 31, 2012. Roundtrip airfares are as low as $1,250 from Los Angeles, $1,350 from Houston, and $1450 from other select U.S. cities..  Stopover in YAP is permitted for a fee of $75.
Purchase Requirements: Fares shown are per person based on a roundtrip purchase in economy class. Tickets must be issued 7 days prior to scheduled departure, but no later than December 15, 2011.. Minimum/Maximum Stay: Fares require 6 days minimum stay with a maximum stay of 30 days after departure from fare origin. Other Discounts: Accompanied child 2-11 "“ NO discount; Infant under 2 with seat "“ NO discount; Infant under 2 without seat "“ charge 10% of the fare; Unaccompanied child 5-11 "“ NO discount; Senior Citizen: No discount; AD/TC "“ NOT permitted. Changes to Itinerary: Changes are allowed prior to scheduled flights at a $150 admin service fee. However, any change must meet the condition of the new fare purchased.
