The Lord Mayor’s Show and Fireworks

This historical event will see the newly elected Mayor travel from the City of London to Westminster to pledge allegiance to the Crown. Â From vibrant samba dancing to military marching bands, the parade features a host of entertainment as the legendary Lord Mayor’s Show winds its way through the heart of the city, ending with a spectacular fireworks finale display on the Thames.

The National Theatre hosts one of the great plays of the twentieth century – Sean O'Casey's Juno and the Paycock offers a devastating portrait of wasted potential in a Dublin torn apart by the chaos of the Irish War of Independence, 1922.
