Of all the days to get sick, I had to choose this one. At least it wasn't the swine flu, which I have to tell you, I wondered if it might be as I sat on the pretty tile floor of a private bathroom in the MGM Grand Macau. The Imperial Court restaurant famous for its authentic Cantonese cuisine had set up a gorgeous, private dining room for us. The dim sum appeared and my stomach would have none of it. I was so disappointed. The smell was fantastic and the one taste I had was astounding. My friends said the meal was out of this world. Luckily it wasn't the flu, just jet lag. And really bad timing. I did end up spending a lot of time at the Lion's Bar at the MGM which was a blast. The band was so much fun and so was watching the predominantly Asian crowd sing every word of American pop music.
