Jazz Festival Returns to Eilat

The dates are set for the third annual Red Sea Winter Jazz Festival in Eilat, Israel and this year's event is sure to be a hit, starting on January 17th and ending on the 19th. "The Red Sea Winter Jazz Festival is one of Israel's most dynamic annual music events, and will provide some additional excitement for travelers vacationing in Eilat this winter" said Haim Gutin, Israel Commissioner for Tourism, North and South America.

With a fabulous lineup of jazz musicians from around the globe – like the Stanley Jordan Trio (U.S.), Motion Trio (Poland), Yuri Honing Acoustic Quartet (Netherlands) and Itamar Daori and Friends (Israel), among many others – this year’s lineup is sure to please local jazz lovers and visitors of Eilat alike. There will also be open jam sessions at various locations along the city's seafront promenade.

Aime CaronAime Caron is a composer/musician currently living in Los Angeles, CA. He was born and raised in Taunton, MA and received his bachelors degree in Contemporary Writing and Production from the Berklee College of Music in Boston MA. He is a multi-instrumentalist and his main instruments are piano, guitar, and flute. He has a particular fondness for World Music though anything with a good groove and unique harmony/melody interests him the most. Mr. Caron has spent extensive time in the Caribbean nation of St Kitts and Moscow Russia where he was exposed to a diverse vocabulary of music from around the globe, including jazz music.
