Wimco, the international villa company, has suggestions for the perfect spring break. Combine a Wimco villa in the Caribbean with golf for a winning score. Here are some suggestions:
Barbados: This golfer’s paradise was chosen to host this year’s World Championship of Golf. There are four championship-level courses on the island including two at Sandy Lane and one at Royal Westmoreland.
St. Thomas: The thrill of a lifetime awaits golfers at Mahogany Run Golf Course on the island of St. Thomas. Designed by Tom Fazio, this beautiful, par-70 course culminates in the spectacular “Devil’s Triangle,” the trio of the 13th, 14th and 15th holes.
Nevis: The 18-hole course at the Four Seasons Resort was designed by Robert Trent Jones. The Four Seasons course hugs the side of Mt. Nevis and offers spectacular panoramic views of St. Kitts. It features a professional challenging terrain so be sure to bring your “game” because the fairways are narrow.
The Turks and Caicos: Who knew how good it is on Provo? Providenciales not only boasts one of the world’s most spectacular beaches, but it’s home to one of the top 10 rated golf courses in the Caribbean. The championship golf course at Provo Golf is in a beautiful setting with lush greens and inspiring views. It is home to scores of pink flamingos.
Anguilla: Scheduled to open in the Fall of 2006 is Anguilla’s first championship golf course. Designed by Greg Norman, the course is located in the southwestern area of Rendezvous Bay. Tee times will be available for guests and residents at the Temenos Sand, Sea and Sky villas
