NEW SERVICE FROM BANGKOK TO KOH SAMUI AS ‘SMOOTH AS SILK’

Passengers can now enjoy the comforts of Thai Airways on their visits to the beautiful Thai island Koh Samui. Starting Feb. 15, 2008, THAI will provide two non-stop flights from Bangkok (BKK) to Samui (USM) every day. This will be the first time Thai Airways has offered flights in this route.

“We’re thrilled about the new route and our extended network,” said Mr. Manit Chaisukumara, General Manager, Thai Airways USA Central and South America. “One of the things that Thai Airways prides itself on is offering great service to our customers. This new daily route will offer our customers the convenience and better access to Bangkok and beyond.”

The twice-daily flight schedule from Thailand‘s capital to the southern resort island is:

In honor of the new route, Royal Orchid Holidays has created special Samui packages, including a selection of 20 hotels in Samui, two in Pha Ngan, and 11 optional tours to the popular Ang Thong Marine National Park and Koh Tao.

As an added bonus, THAI is offering a special promotional fare of 2,450 baht per Economy ticket and 3,600 baht per Business class ticket (excluding airport taxes and other surcharges) for passengers traveling between BKK and USM from Feb. 15 – Mar. 31, 2008.
