Hong Kong, November 6, 2006 — Beijing's world renowned musician, artist, masterchef and trend-setter JinR is taking her unique GREEN T. HOUSE concept outside of Beijing for the first time with the opening of GREEN T. HOUSE | Hong Kong in December.

GREEN T. HOUSE was first established by JinR in Beijing in 1997 and has since built an international reputation as a unique blend of teahouse, restaurant, gallery, cultural events space and inspiring meeting place. Says JinR simply, "Green T. House presents an authentic Chinese experience, but in a way that you've never imagined."

GREEN T. HOUSE brings this concept to an exciting new space at Hong Kong's Cyberport and represents a unique luxury lifestyle brand from modern China. "We chose Cyberport because it is one of the few places in Hong Kong that really gives people a sense of getting away from it all – with a serene environment and natural harbour views while still being only 15 minutes from Central," said JinR. "It fits well with our concept to transport our guests both physically and spiritually into a space that inspires them, unlike the usual living and dining experiences in Hong Kong."

Encompassing a generous 5,300 square feet of Hong Kong's chic Cyberport, GREEN T. HOUSE | Hong Kong will be a remarkably spacious contemporary Chinese restaurant, gallery and cultural venue designed to revitalize the senses and soothe the spirit. Like GREEN T. HOUSE | Beijing, it draws on the traditions of the tea house as a social gathering place at the centre of Chinese culture and culinary heritage, and mixes them with energizing elements of "New China" art and music, fused with JinR's unique sense of style and culinary vision.

The design of GREEN T. HOUSE | Hong Kong will feature a palette predominantly made up of subtle shades of white, with a circular private tea room, and a stainless steel sculpture feature which will also serve as a bar. The unique flexible communal seating arrangements are intended to give a sense of both privacy and community, and day beds will be graced with stunning harbour views.

A large projection wall will add intriguing and dynamic images to enhance the atmosphere of the space. Unusually high 5 meter ceilings and a private elevator entrance will add to the sense of escape "for memorable moments with friends, associates, guests, and loved ones, as well as to enjoy events and performances," says JinR.

GREEN T. HOUSE | Hong Kong will also act as a gallery space and will stage cultural events and performances that range from the traditional to the avant-garde and encompass tea tasting, modern dance performances and discussions exploring various aspects of the arts. It will feature works of art which have been hand-selected by JinR and express her inspiration and vision of beauty.

Leading American Chinese chef Alan Yu, who has worked in the kitchens of some of the world's top chefs including Jean-Georges Vongerichten at 66 Restaurant and Michel Richard at Citronelle, will be heading up the kitchen in GREEN T.HOUSE | Hong Kong and assist JinR in creating an inspired version of GREEN T. HOUSE's "New China" cuisine that is tailor-made for Hong Kong's sophisticated and cosmopolitan dining scene.

In its debut period, GREEN T. HOUSE | Hong Kong will cater to a maximum of 40 guests at a time, in spite of its spacious dimensions, and all by prior appointment only. Guests will enjoy personalized service and exclusivity.

JinR's philosophy has always been to showcase China's multi-layered aesthetics, sensations, cultural zeitgeist and artistic soul in a way that is accessible without losing its purity or soul. With GREEN T. HOUSE | Hong Kong, she makes that artistic soul accessible to a wider audience.
