After my recent visit to Mexico City for the first annual FITA event (think of a large convention space filled with international tourism), I was encouraged by how much I liked Mexico City. Truthfully, the location was the chief draw for me to cover the festivities of FITA.

Traveling in Mexico City, for my first time, was a surprise visually. There are incredible monuments, culture, museums, history and people. Dragging my camera gear around was a good idea. Here are some of my favorite shots from Mexico City. Hopefully, as encouragement that Mexico City remains an interesting place to travel.
