On arrival at Melbourne Airport you will be met by PerryGolf personnel who will assist you with your luggage and transfer to your transportation.

Today play Moonah Links – Open Course (tbc). Designed by Thomson & Wolveridge, this course is he new home of the Australian Open and Australian Golf Union. A magnificent links course on the Mornington Peninsula , Moonah Links is a great golfing experience. Set amidst rolling sand dunes it has the hallmarks of becoming one of Australia’s best with great bunkering, beautiful greens and the need to think strategically.

Monday, January 29
Today play Royal Melbourne Composite Course (tbc). The only day annually when visitors can play the layout which is considered #10 in the World Rankings. Tea tree scrub lining the fairways and catching any errant shots, cavernous bunkers surrounding most greens and strategically placed on most fairways to catch a slightly wayward drive and lightning fast greens that give up their fair share of 3 putts. Here you will find strategic short par 4 holes, classic par 3 holes with undulating putting surfaces, and reachable par 5 holes which reward precise shotmaking.

Tuesday, January 30
Today play Kingston Heath (tbc). Designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie and ranked number 2 in Australia is one of the greats in the world. Fast, subtly breaking greens, excellent bunkering with superbly interesting holes are the main features plus the fact that it caters equally for all standards of golfers.

Today fly to Launceston Airport.

Wednesday, January 31
Today play at Barnbougle Dunes (tbc). The creation of a small group of dreaming golfers who saw the potential to build the most amazing golf course on the small island of Tasmania a short jump from the mainland of Australia. The golf course meanders through towering dunes and along the beach, where the roar of the ocean and a salty breeze will embrace golfers, plotting their way around one of the world’s most natural golf courses.

Today fly to Sydney Airport.

Thursday, February 1
Today play New South Wales (tbc). Designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie, this course is one of the greats, ranked number 5 in Australia. Situated at the site of Captain Cook’s landing in Australia at La Peruse it is not only a superb course but also offers some outstanding views of the Pacific Ocean. Holes 5 and 6 will long be remembered.

Friday, February 2
Depart Australia from the Sydney Airport.
On arrival at Auckland Airport you will be met by PerryGolf personnel who will assist you with your luggage and transfer to the domestic terminal for your flight to Kerikeri Airport.

Golf today at Kauri Cliffs (tbc). Designed by David Harman this world class course also offers unparalleled spectacular ocean views. Situated high above the ocean, 15 of the holes look out on the Pacific Ocean. Immaculately presented, it is a fantastic experience to play and the memories will last forever. Rated number 5 worldwide by David Seanor of Golfweek.

Sunday, February 4
Today fly to Napier Airport.
Today play Cape Kidnappers (tbc). Renowned architect Tom Doak’s first project outside of the U.S.A., Cape Kidnappers is perched on fingers of land nearly 500 feet above Hawke Bay, this vertigo inducing course, creased by ravines and patrolled by gannets, belongs more to heaven than earth. It is seaside golf at its finest, you’ll hit heroic shots over the tops of tea trees, and play cautiously along the edges of deep ravines, every hole has a view of the Bay. Enjoy your game and enjoy the setting. You will never play golf somewhere like this again.

Schedule permitting, optional golf is available at Cape Kidnappers this morning before afternoon flight departures.

KAURI CLIFFS LODGE
The lodge and course at Kauri Cliffs are situated on the truly spectacular Pacific Ocean coast, a little north of the Bay of Islands. Kauri cliffs opened in February 2001. The main building boasts a large dining room, lounge, card room and tiger room named after the resort owner’s affectionate moniker. All rooms in the main building have open fireplaces, and elegant furnishings, featuring English, Italian and Spanish antiques. All the artwork has originated in New Zealand. Adjacent to the main building is the accommodation. Sixteen rooms feature in eight separate cottages looking from the edge of native New Zealand forest, across the golf course to the Pacific Ocean and coastal islands. Each room has a private veranda, large lounge and bathroom, TV, open fireplace ad full his and hers walk-in wardrobe. Facilities at Kauri Cliffs include golf, a spa, heated pool, hunting, kayaking, a gymnasium, business centre, two tennis courts, various nature trails and three easily accessible private beaches. Dining at Kauri Cliffs is a la carte and there are several dining areas away from the main dining room. A full breakfast, dinner and pre-dinner drinks are included in the tariff. Gentlemen are required to wear jackets for dinner.

MANGAPAPA LODGE
Perched gracefully on the pillared gateway to Mangapapa Lodge, sit two Lions guarding with pride this grand historic homestead. Built in 1885 for William Nelson, it was purchased in 1946 by Sir James Wattie who raised both the Melbourne Cup and Caulfield Cup winner ‘Even Stevens’ at the property. The Travel Protection Plan will provide coverage if your cancellation is caused by a covered reason (e.g. sickness or injury) and you will receive a benefit, such as full reimbursement of all lost monies, under the terms and conditions of the Travel Protection Plan. If purchased within seven days of the initial deposit, this Protection Plan also includes a “Cancellation for Any Reason” waiver.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Changes: After deposits have been received and confirmation has been issued, any changes requested by the client are subject to an administrative fee of $50.00 per change per person in addition to any charges which may be made by suppliers for cancellations. In most cases, changes cannot be made less than 60 days before travel.

Handicap Certificate: Most courses require visitors to be a member of a recognized golf club and to hold official handicaps, with some courses imposing a maximum handicap restriction. PerryGolf endorses this viewpoint and recommends that players travel with a valid handicap certificate from their golf club which they may be required to produce.
